About this course:

Electrical Engineering is one of the largest and fastest-growing fields, focusing on the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. Electrical Engineering mainly involves tasks such as the management of large electrical systems like power generation, transmission, and distribution, telecommunications, electrical circuit design and estimation, control of electrical equipment, and operations.

In this industrially dependent era, Electrical Engineering is considered one of the most promising professions. An electrical engineer designs, constructs, and maintains machines used in various industries. The Diploma in Electrical Engineering is a 4-year program focused on practical and skill-based training.

The field of electrical engineering is divided into several special areas such as power generation, transmission systems, motors, batteries, and control systems. Electronics is also a part of Electrical Engineering, which is further subdivided into areas like radio frequency systems, telecommunications, remote sensing, signal processing, digital circuits, instrumentation, audio, video, and optoelectronics.

To be eligible for admission to the Diploma in Electrical Engineering program accredited by BTEB, candidates must have completed their secondary education with a minimum GPA of 2.50 out of 4.00. Candidates may need to pass an interview as part of the admission process.
